Yes. The graduate diploma provides an articulation pathway into the Master of Public Health. You can also elect to further your studies by adding an extension to gain research experience through additional research methodology courses and/or an advanced research project, which may make you eligible to apply to pursue a PhD. You can also combine your master's degree with health leadership and management, global health or infectious diseases intelligence through dual or dual extension options.
The Graduate Diploma in Public Health can be completed in one year of full-time study or 1.7 years part-time. The program consists of six courses in total: two core courses and four elective courses.
For 2026, the indicative Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) first year fee is $7,000 and the fee to complete the degree is also $7,000. For domestic full-fee paying students, the indicative first year full fee is $29,500 and the fee to complete the degree is $29,500. For international students, the 2026 indicative first year full fee is $45,500 and the indicative full fee to complete the degree is $46,500. Fees are subject to annual review and may vary accordingly.
