The Graduate Diploma in Spirituality consists of 144 points, made up of 96 points of postgraduate units in the disciplines of Spirituality or Spiritual Direction, and 48 points of postgraduate units in any discipline.
Fees for 2026 are $3,384 per standard unit, equating to $20,304 for a full-time year (6 units). Fees are subject to change from year to year.
The course is available at three colleges: Catholic Theological College in East Melbourne VIC, Pilgrim Theological College in Parkville VIC, and Whitley College in Box Hill VIC. All three offer Classroom, Mixed and Online modes for domestic students, and Online (off-shore students only) mode for overseas students.
Graduates of the Graduate Diploma in Spirituality will have engaged with personal spiritual experience in light of key themes and approaches in spirituality; have skills and capacities in research, reflection and communication of key themes and approaches in spirituality; have knowledge of the dynamics of the spiritual life through reflection on personal spiritual experience, integrated with key themes and approaches in spirituality; and apply key themes and approaches in Christian spirituality to understanding life, work and community.
Upon completion of the Graduate Diploma in Spirituality, graduates are awarded the postnominal GDSp.
