Academic entry requirements

• Successful completion of an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with specialisation in Sport and/or business and/or STEM as determined by the Course Coordinator. or Relevant work experience (at least 2 years) in Sport and/or business and/or STEM as determined by Course Coordinator.

Inherent requirements

Behavioural and relational skills

Students must demonstrate appropriate behavioural and interpersonal communication skills that will allow them to manage learning environments given varied teaching methods and diverse staff and student backgrounds and perspectives.

Cognition

Students must be able to follow instruction, seek out and use retained knowledge to make appropriate decisions and actions as they progress through their course. They must be able to sustain their attention during practical learning activities and to complete complex assessment tasks.

Sensory Capability

Students must be able to manipulate, analyse, visualise and present data for interpretation and communication.

Strength and mobility

Students must be able manage computer hardware and software.

International students:

English language requirements

6.5 IELTS (Academic) with no individual band less than 6.0.

Graduate with the advanced technical and analytical skills to collect, manage, analyse and communicate sport data. Possible roles include:

• sport analyst
• game analyst
• data analyst
• data scientist.

This course provides a pathway to further study through the Master of Sport Analytics. You may be eligible to apply for advanced standing for up to one year of full-time study.
