Yes. Students completing the Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Secondary) will meet the qualification requirements for Provisional Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA). However, this course has approval specifically for teacher registration in Western Australia. Completion does not automatically confer eligibility for teacher registration in other Australian states or territories — graduates seeking registration outside WA must contact the relevant teacher regulatory authority to confirm recognition and equivalence of their qualification.
For Commonwealth supported domestic students, the estimated first year indicative fee is AUD $4,750. Please note this is a guide only, based on a typical enrolment. At ECU, students pay for individual units rather than an overall course fee, so the total cost may vary depending on unit choices. ECU fees are also adjusted annually.
Yes, the course is available full-time or part-time equivalent at the Joondalup campus. However, during professional experience placements, host schools generally require Pre-Service Teachers to attend on a full-time basis. Before commencing any placement, all Pre-Service Teachers aged 18 and over must hold a current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) and a current Working with Children Check (or equivalent clearance from the relevant State authority).

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
