Graduate Diploma in Tourism, Events and Hospitality Management

The Graduate Diploma in Tourism, Events and Hospitality Management is a one-year program preparing you for leadership across the visitor economy, taught in a city built around cultural festivals, sporting events and business events.
You acquire fundamental expertise in marketing, accounting and entrepreneurial thinking for the tourism and hospitality industry, and develop the contemporary management skills needed to lead tourism and hospitality operations and meet business goals.
The program covers the visitor economy including emerging digital innovations, and is deliberately hands-on and industry-engaged: you design, plan and deliver actual events, gain practical experience on industry-based projects, and collaborate with industry partners on projects and internships.
Research skills are built alongside the management content — you design, conduct and analyse research relevant to the field.

The program is 48 units — 42 units of core courses and 6 units of electives — taken full time over one year at the Adelaide City Campus, with February and July intakes.
