Yes. This course serves as an entry and exit point for the Master of Business Administration (MBA). Graduates of the Diploma can proceed to complete the MBA course, which requires a total of 12 subjects (72 credit points) including 8 core subjects and 4 elective subjects.
Yes. Students can exit with a Graduate Certificate in Business after completing the four Term 1 core units (Marketing Management, Business Finance, Accounting for Business, and Economic Environment of Business), or exit with the full Graduate Diploma of Business Administration upon completing all eight units.
Applicants need either an Australian bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification, including an overseas qualification), or completion of a Graduate Certificate in a relevant field of study which must include at least one study of mathematics, statistics, or quantitative analysis. English language requirements also apply.
Assessment methods are designed to encourage learning, provide feedback and measure achievement of unit learning outcomes. Forms of assessment vary among units and include research reports, projects, essays, group work, presentations, problem solving and case studies as well as tests, quizzes and examinations. Assessments generally require a written submission but may include an oral presentation, and in capstone units may include industry engagement and an extensive report.
