Graduate Diploma of Business Analytics

The course consists of 8 subjects in total: 6 core subjects and 2 electives. Core subjects include Introduction to Business Analytics, Data Visualisation and Communication, Data Acquisition and Management, Data Security and Ethics, Analytics in Accounting and Finance, and Quantitative Methods. Elective options include subjects such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data-driven Forecasting, and an Internship.

The typical duration is 1 year across 3 trimesters. An accelerated study option is also available depending on subject options.

Graduates of the Graduate Diploma of Business Analytics may pursue roles such as Business Insights Adviser, Service Desk Operator, Commercial Analyst, and Process Improvement Consultant. The course also provides eligibility for up to eight subject credits into recognised postgraduate courses in Australia that specialise in business analytics or that have space for unspecified electives.
