The Graduate Diploma of Computer Science is offered on campus at two locations: Fremantle (23 High St, Fremantle, WA 6160) and Sydney (128-140 Broadway, Chippendale, NSW 2008).
There are no additional entry requirements or pre-requisites for the Graduate Diploma of Computer Science award beyond the University's minimum requirement for postgraduate admission, as detailed in the University's Policy: Admissions.
The program has Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) available for eligible domestic students, where the Australian Government pays part of your fees and you may defer your student contribution via a HECS-HELP Loan. International students pay full fees, with tuition costs dependent on study load and discipline, payable each semester at least four weeks prior to commencement.
Graduates are prepared to work in roles such as software engineers, data scientists, database administrators, cyber security analysts, and IT project managers, tackling new and existing challenges in the tech industry both today and into the future.
The curriculum focuses on in-demand skills such as software development, database systems, computer architecture design, project management and cyber security. Graduates will demonstrate advanced knowledge of computer systems, architecture, and software development, critically evaluate ethical and legal implications in computer science, and apply effective communication skills to convey technical concepts.
