Yes. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Diploma of Creative Arts, you may articulate into Deakin's Master of Creative Arts if you want to continue building your creative expertise. There is also an alternate exit option to the Graduate Certificate of Creative Arts (A559).
The Graduate Diploma of Creative Arts allows you to hone your creative practice alongside students from six creative arts disciplines: visual arts, photography, animation and motion capture, visual communication design, dance, and drama.
To complete the Graduate Diploma of Creative Arts, you must pass 8 credit points. This includes a compulsory 0-credit-point Academic Integrity and Respect at Deakin module (DAI001) in your first study period, plus 8 credit points of course elective units. As a full-time student you will study four credit points per trimester and usually undertake two trimesters per year.
Students can get hands-on experience in professional standard facilities, including TV broadcast studios, dance and drama studios, a professional photographic light studio, visual arts and design studios, and dedicated gallery spaces.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
