For domestic students, the 2026 total fee is AU$39,360 (full-fee paying basis only). For international students, the 2026 total fee is AU$44,160. In addition, a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) of up to AU$373 maximum is charged for 2026. Additional costs for field trips, textbooks, and equipment may also apply. The Graduate Diploma of Fashion (Entrepreneurship) has two intakes per year: February and July. The course takes 1 year to complete full-time or 2 years part-time. It is delivered on campus at RMIT's Brunswick Campus.

The course structure depends on your prior qualifications. If your previous qualifications are within fashion or textiles, your pathway includes 5 core subjects and 3 fashion and textiles elective subjects. If your background is from any other undergraduate discipline, your pathway includes 6 core subjects and 2 fashion and textiles elective subjects. Two electives — Global Fashion Supply Chain and Global Entrepreneurship — are delivered offshore as global intensive courses. Learning takes place through lectures, tutorials, projects, team activities, and Work Integrated Learning (WIL), with assessment potentially including presentations to external industry panels.
Yes. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Diploma of Fashion (Entrepreneurship), you can continue your studies in the MC213 Master of Fashion (Entrepreneurship), subject to that program's entrance requirements. You will receive 96 credit points of advanced standing into the master program, as the content of the graduate diploma is aligned with the first two semesters of the master's degree.
The Graduate Diploma of Fashion (Entrepreneurship) has professional industry links with a wide range of organisations and associations, including the peak industry body the Australian Fashion Council (AFC). You will be taught by academics with strong industry relationships and current professional experience in the fashion industry. The School of Fashion and Textiles has regular consultations with an Industry Advisory Group consisting of high-profile industry representatives. Collaborative activities include partnered projects, placements, virtual studios, and case studies to immerse students in current industry professional practices.
