Applicants may be considered for admission if they have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent postgraduate qualification in any discipline, a tertiary education qualification at AQF level 6 or above in a related field, or equivalent professional experience as determined by the relevant Associate Dean. International applicants must also meet the English language requirement of IELTS Overall Score 6.0 with no band less than 5.5.
Yes. Graduates of the Graduate Diploma of Information Technology receive direct entry and up to eight units of credit towards the Master of Information Technology. Upon progression to the Master's level, students can choose a specialisation in either Artificial Intelligence or Cybersecurity.
The Graduate Diploma of Information Technology is available at Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney campuses, as well as fully Online. Domestic students can study full-time (1 year) or part-time (2 years), while international students study full-time (1 year). Intakes are available in Term 1, Term 3, and Term 5, though not all locations may have all intake periods available.
The annual tuition fee for international students is $26,000 (AUD), which equates to $3,250 per unit, based on completing 8 units per year. Tuition fees are subject to change, including annual increases over the duration of the course. Students are also required to pay OSHC for the duration of their visa in advance.
Yes, this course is accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS). Additionally, throughout the course students will gain industry-relevant knowledge aligned with globally recognised certification programs and will earn certified digital badges upon completion.
