Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)

The Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) (BSB80120) reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Graduates generate and evaluate complex ideas, and initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation, typically with full responsibility and accountability for their own output and the work of others. It suits leaders and managers in organisations where learning is used to build organisational capability, with job roles including RTO Manager and RTO Director.

A total of 8 units (3 core and 5 electives) must be completed to achieve the qualification, covering contributing to learning and development strategy, leading strategic transformation, implementing improved learning practice, developing collaborative partnerships, applied research, innovation and continuous improvement, critical thinking for complex problem-solving, and leading innovative thinking and practice.

Delivered face-to-face (classroom based) over 52 weeks — 44 study weeks plus 8 weeks of holidays, 20 hours per week in the classroom plus an estimated 5 hours per week of self-study — at Darwin Institute of Trade (DIT, RTO 41128, CRICOS 03609J)'s Parramatta NSW and North Melbourne VIC campuses. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available to all students upon enrolment, and is particularly recommended for applicants who have worked in a relevant job role for at least 2 years.
