Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design, and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others. Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have sub Class 500 Student Visa (in case of International Students).
Have successfully completed the BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management (or equivalent) or a bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
Participate in a course entry interview to determine suitability for the course and student needs (if required).
People of mature age (over 21) who have not completed Year 12 will be considered for enrolment in this course. Their eligibility will be assessed on a case by case basis considering their work experience and aptitude.
English language competency to successfully communicate and complete the course as per published entry requirements.
Technology and technology literacy requirements: Ability to produce and present high-level word-processed documents/reports of several pages; Ability to undertake online research; Ability to obtain, interpret, evaluate and present information from a variety of sources (reading or the internet or via other assistive technology).
Students undertaking this program are required to have well-developed language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills relevant to the requirements of their role.
Each student must provide their USI (Unique Student Identifier) before they are to commence their studies.

How long does it take to complete the BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)?

The program is delivered over 52 weeks with actual student contact hours being 20 hours per week for 40 weeks. It has been divided into 4 terms of 10 weeks each with 12 weeks of holidays.

What are the entry requirements for the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)?

Students must be at least 18 years of age, have successfully completed the BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management (or equivalent) or a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), demonstrate English language competency, and meet technology literacy requirements. International students must hold a sub Class 500 Student Visa. A course entry interview may also be required to determine suitability.

How is the course delivered and how many hours per week are required?

The course is delivered in a blended mode — 75% face to face (trainer led sessions with in-class experiential activities) and 25% online (Moodle based assessment tasks). This full-time course requires 20 hours of contact per week plus 10 hours of self-study per week during the term.

How are students assessed in this course?

A range of assessment methods are used, including observation and demonstration, scenarios, presentations, questioning, and case studies. Assessments are marked as Competent (C) or Not Yet Competent (NYC). Students who receive an NYC result will receive written feedback and be required to resubmit. Students have three (3) attempts to demonstrate competency, otherwise a unit re-enrolment fee applies.
