Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)

This Graduate Diploma is designed for experienced professionals who apply highly specialised knowledge in organisational learning and capability development - generating and evaluating complex ideas, and initiating, designing and executing major learning and development functions within an organisation. It suits leaders and managers who use learning to build organisational capability, including those moving into roles such as RTO Manager or RTO Director. The course consists of 8 units of competency (3 core, 5 elective) covering the development of learning and development strategies, leading strategic transformation, implementing improved learning practice, financial strategy leadership, organisational performance development, applied research, collaborative partnerships, and organisation-wide strategic planning. Entry requires a completed Diploma or higher qualification in a related field, or a minimum of five years' relevant professional experience. Delivered over 52 weeks, the qualification is a genuine capstone for learning and development professionals, and graduates may go on to further study at higher education level. Classes run at WIA's Sydney and Brisbane campuses.
