To be eligible, applicants must have successfully completed a Bachelor degree, an Advanced Diploma qualification in Australia, a 2 or 3 year diploma offshore, or an Australian Year 12 Certificate (or equivalent) plus five years full-time relevant workplace experience. Additionally, students must be 18 years of age or over and have English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or pass the HIA English Test.
The course is delivered over a period of 104 weeks, equating to 72 contact study weeks plus 32 weeks for holidays.
The course is delivered on a blended basis at 20 hours per week, comprising 14 hours face to face in the classroom plus 6 hours of online study.
Assessments vary from unit to unit and may take the form of an open book theory assessment/activities, questioning, assignment, project work, practical activities in a simulated work environment, role plays, case studies, presentations, written reports, or a combination of these. Students are provided with a Student Assessment Booklet at the commencement of each unit of competency which sets out the range and types of assessments used for that unit.
After completing the BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning), graduates will be able to seek employment or continue their studies into higher education. Further training options, such as a Master in Business (externally) or other related qualifications, will also be made available to students to further enhance their skill set.
