Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)

The Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) provides management knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development in a business. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas, and initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation, typically with full responsibility and accountability for the output and work of others. The qualification is aimed at leaders and managers in organisations where learning is used to build organisational capability. Entry requires Year 12 VCE (or its overseas equivalent) and completion of an AQF Level 5 Diploma in Australia, together with evidence of English proficiency such as an IELTS score of 6.0. Delivered face-to-face by Victorian Academy of Commerce and Technology Startups (VACTS) at its Coburg campus, the program runs over 76 weeks, with 20 hours of student contact time per week across 66 weeks of study and a 10-week break; students who have already completed relevant units through Recognition of Prior Learning or Credit Transfer may finish sooner. Graduates are prepared for senior roles such as national and company management, leadership consulting, corporate training management and business development.
