Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have successfully completed the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management (or equivalent) or a bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
Participate in a course entry interview to determine suitability for the course and student needs
Ability to read, comprehend and write a range of texts within a variety of contexts
Ability to use and respond to spoken language, including some unfamiliar material and terminology, within a variety of contexts
Ability to recognise, understand and use some of the conventions, symbols and formulae of formal mathematics and statistics
International students must have a valid IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent
International students may alternatively demonstrate English language competence through: studying for 5 years in an English-speaking country; or completing at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO; or successful completion of an English Placement Test
Students must show certified proof of their proficiency or proof of having passed an appropriate English Language Test within the last two years
Students will be required to undertake an LLN test to identify if they will require additional learning support

What are the tuition fees for the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)?

The course tuition fee is $8,000.00. There is also a non-refundable enrolment fee of $250.00, a material fee of $250.00, and a late/re-assessment fee of $50 per unit. The course fee is inclusive of learning resources, trainer and assessor support by phone and email, up to 52 weeks to complete the course, support services, and certificate and record of results issuance.

What are the entry requirements for this course?

To enrol, students must be at least 18 years of age, have successfully completed the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management (or equivalent) or a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), and participate in a course entry interview to determine suitability. International students must also have a valid IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent, or demonstrate equivalent English language competence through other accepted means.

How is the course assessed?

Assessments are carried out in accordance with identified industry benchmarks, specific industry requirements, specific principles of assessment, and rules of evidence. The assessment process may include theory, projects, and practical assessments. Assessment tasks include written questions, projects (containing case studies and written reports), applied questions, and role play/presentation. All activities and projects are assessed by an assigned Assessor and returned to the student with feedback.

Where is the course delivered and what is the mode of delivery?

The mode of delivery for this course is face-to-face. It is delivered at two campuses: the Sydney Campus at Level 1, 37 George Street, Parramatta, NSW 2150, and the Melbourne Campus at L8, 1/168 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.

What student support services are available to enrolled students?

Richmond School of Business offers a range of support services including trainer/assessor support by telephone and email during business hours at no additional cost, a dedicated Student Support Services Department for administrative support, learner support in language, literacy and numeracy based on LLN test outcomes, and student welfare support. RSB has also contracted an external qualified Student Welfare Counsellor, Mrs Judith Bowler, with RSB paying for the first consultation.
