The program has a total duration of 70 weeks, comprising 65 weeks of delivery and 5 weeks of holiday. Students are required to attend 2.5 days per week, totalling a 20-hour weekly commitment.
Yes, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available. RPL is a process designed to recognise previous formal or informal learning, work and life experiences relevant to the course outcomes. Students who believe they already have some of the competencies in the course may apply for RPL by contacting info@actt.edu.au.
Candidates may enter the qualification through a relevant Diploma or Advanced Diploma, a relevant Certificate III or IV with significant vocational practice, extensive relevant vocational practice without formal qualifications, or a higher education qualification with relevant vocational practice. After achieving this qualification, individuals could progress to any Training and Development Professionals programs offered at an AQF 8 and above.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded a 'Testamur' and a 'Record of Results' which provides detailed Units of Competency completed in the course. Upon partial completion, students will be awarded a 'Statement of Attainment' detailing only the Units of Competency in which they have achieved competency.
