Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)

The BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) at Fusion College of Technology reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas, and they initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically they would have full responsibility and accountability for their personal output and for the work of others. The qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability, and the job roles that relate to it may also include RTO Manager and RTO Director. Fusion College recommends the course for international students seeking to pursue or further a career in organisational learning and capability development, or seeking a pathway to higher level qualifications. The program is made up of eight units of competency - three core and five electives - covering the development of learning and development strategies, leading strategic transformation, implementing improved learning practice, critical thinking for complex problem-solving, leading and managing organisational change, developing and implementing business plans, leading innovative thinking and practice, and providing leadership across the organisation. It is delivered over 104 weeks, including 80 weeks of training and assessment spread over eight terms of ten weeks each and 24 weeks of holidays, at the college's Parramatta campus.
