The course has a total duration of 104 weeks, comprising 84 teaching weeks and 20 weeks of academic re-view/break. Please note that academic break times are indicative and are subject to change.
Students must meet Macallan College's English Proficiency Policy and Procedures, which require either an IELTS overall score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no individual section score less than 5.5, or a pre-entry Oxford English online test result of no less than B2.2 with a minimum score of 71. All applicants from AL3 countries must sit an IELTS test.
The qualification consists of 8 units in total — 3 core units and 5 elective units. Both knowledge and practical assessments are required to be completed with a competent outcome for each unit to achieve the qualification.
Graduates may pursue roles such as Human Resources Development (HRD) operational manager, Learning and development consultant, RTO manager or head of department, Organisational learning and leadership manager, Training manager, Workforce capability development leader, Workforce planner, Educational professional working within an RTO, or a Manager providing research or information related to career development.
