The Graduate Diploma of Police Leadership includes four semesters with a total of 80 credit points: 60 credit points of core units and 20 credit points of electives.
For domestic students, the tuition per unit is AUD $2,500, with total course fees of AUD $20,000, a one-time non-refundable application fee of AUD $500, and AUD $10,000 paid up front. For international students, the tuition per unit is AUD $3,125, with total tuition fees of AUD $25,000, a non-refundable deposit of AUD $500, and AUD $12,500 paid up front prior to issue of Confirmation of Enrolment.
Yes, both domestic and international applicants are required to have at least two years relevant policing experience in a managerial or leadership role, in addition to completing an AQF Level 7 or above higher education qualification (or equivalent) in any discipline.
Yes, credit for previous learning may be obtained through the processes of articulation, credit transfer and recognition of prior learning or a combination of these processes. Students who have successfully completed accredited study or courses at recognised tertiary institutions may apply for a Transfer of Credit, and RPL from life and work experience will also be considered upon request.
Yes, this course allows flexibility for students who may wish to start with a shorter postgraduate course before committing to a Masters program, or for students who need to exit the Masters earlier than intended due to unforeseen reasons.
