Common Questions
Yes. APIC courses are nationally accredited and registered by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) and included in the National Register of Higher Education Providers. APIC is also formally registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS), with the GradDipPM CRICOS Code 066177G. Additionally, APIC's Graduate Diploma of Project Management is endorsed by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), and the course curriculum and learning framework are based on the standards outlined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide).
To qualify for the award, students are required to successfully complete seven (7) core units plus one (1) elective from the provided options, totalling 8 units which is equivalent to 64 credit points. Recommended electives include PRJ5107 Venture, Project Economics and Finance and BUS6001 Business Strategy Management, among others.
Applicants without a bachelor's degree may still be admitted if they have successfully completed an Associate Degree or Advanced Diploma (AQF 6) and have at least two years full-time managerial and/or professional work experience in a related field; or if they have a minimum of three years full-time managerial and/or professional work experience in a related field; or a minimum of five years full-time general work experience in a related field. Alternatively, successful completion of a postgraduate preparation program is also accepted.
In this course, students should expect to develop the following attributes: basic project management knowledge and tools, leadership and communication, problem solving, creativity and lateral thinking, and ethics and sustainability. The course learning outcomes also include integrating advanced knowledge of project management theories, demonstrating ethical understanding and professional accountability, analysing complex project problems, applying advanced project tools and technologies, and communicating persuasively with diverse stakeholders.
Yes. FEE-HELP is a Commonwealth Government loan available to eligible domestic students enrolled in APIC courses in order to help pay all or part of their tuition fees.
