The Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science can be completed in just 8 months (2 semesters), and the full pathway to registration — including the bachelor's degree, fourth year, and master's — can be completed in 4 years 8 months.
Upon completion of the fourth year program, graduates will be eligible to apply for provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and progress to a master's level program. Graduates may also apply for provisional registration as a Psychologist provided they enrol in further postgraduate studies or undertake two years' supervised training.
Yes, the program is accredited by the Australian Psychological Accreditation Council (APAC) and approved by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA). It is recognised by APAC as the equivalent of the fourth year of the six-year psychology training pathway.
