The course is delivered in a blended mode — 75% face to face (trainer led sessions with in-class experiential activities) and 25% online via Moodle. In each term at least one unit is taught face to face. The program runs Monday and Tuesday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Wednesday 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, totalling 20 hours per week in class plus 10 hours per week self-study.
Applicants must be 18 years or over and meet one of the following academic pathways: a completed bachelor's degree in a related field plus 2 years of full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant leadership level, OR five years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility. An IELTS score of 6.0 (no band below 6.0) or equivalent English proficiency is also required for non-native English speakers.
The program is delivered over 52 weeks full-time, comprising 40 weeks of term time and 12 weeks in term breaks, with classes running 20 hours per week in the classroom/online.
Assessments are competency based. Each unit comprises assessment tasks such as Written Knowledge Assessments, Projects, Case Studies, Practical Demonstrations, and Assessor Observations, which must be completed in full before being submitted for marking. Once a student receives a satisfactory result for all required assessment tasks, a Competent (C) outcome is awarded. Students have three (3) attempts to demonstrate competency, otherwise a unit re-enrolment fee applies.
Yes. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer may be offered to any learner who can provide evidence of competency for the units offered within this qualification. RPL and Credit Transfer must be processed and approved before the starting of the course.
