To enrol, you must meet one of the following: (1) completion of an Advanced Diploma qualification in a related field plus three years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility; or (2) a Bachelor degree in a related field plus two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience; or (3) five years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility. All applicants must also have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent, be at least 18 years of age at course commencement, and international learners must demonstrate an IELTS 6.5 with no skills band less than 6 or equivalent.
The course has a duration of 104 weeks including term breaks, delivered across 8 terms.
The course is delivered in a blended mode at two campuses: the Sydney Startup Hub, Level 7, 11–31 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000, and Melbourne CBD, Level 7, 118 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
The course covers eight units spanning: Lead innovative thinking and practice (BSBSTR801), Lead strategic transformation (BSBLDR811), Develop and cultivate collaborative partnerships and relationships (BSBLDR812), Contribute to organisational performance development (BSBHRM611), Contribute to the development of learning and development strategies (BSBHRM613), Contribute to the development of diversity and inclusion strategies (BSBHRM615), Lead strategic planning processes for an organisation (BSBSTR802), and Prioritise projects and programs (BSBPMG810).
Graduates of the Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership may pursue roles such as Managing Director, General Manager, Senior Manager/Senior Administrator, and Senior Executive.
