The BSB80320 Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership is delivered by Nomi College, the trading name of Australis College Pty Ltd (RTO 31518, CRICOS 03569A). Nomi College describes the qualification as reflecting the role of individuals who apply advanced knowledge and skills in a range of strategic leadership and management roles. Individuals at this level make high-level autonomous decisions and use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions in varied contexts. They have full responsibility and accountability for personal outputs and for the work or function of others. The College states that they use cognitive and creative skills to review, critically analyse, consolidate and synthesise knowledge in order to generate ideas and provide solutions to complex problems, and communication skills to demonstrate their understanding of theoretical concepts and transfer knowledge and ideas to others. The two core units are leading strategic transformation and leading strategic planning processes for an organisation. Six elective units cover leading financial strategy development, initiating and leading applied research, developing and cultivating collaborative partnerships and relationships, leading innovative thinking and practice, reviewing organisational digital strategy, and leading and influencing ethical practice. Nomi College lists the new skills gained as problem-solving, critical thinking, strong communication, project management and leadership. This is a 104-week full-time course, delivered as a blended combination of face-to-face classroom and simulated instruction, self-directed learning and final assessment. Entry is limited to applicants with a relevant Diploma or Advanced Diploma plus three years of leadership experience, a relevant Bachelor degree plus two years, or five years of relevant leadership experience, and the course is offered at the Sydney (Surry Hills), Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth campuses.

Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Entry requirements (international students - Nomi College does not publish a separate set of domestic requirements):

Applicants must be 18 years or above before commencement of study at Nomi College.

Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:

have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in related fields of study and 3 years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise,
or have completed a Bachelor degree in related fields of study and 2 years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise,
or have five years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.
Nomi College may also accept applicants who hold other relevant qualifications, certifications and/or experience.
English language: a minimum overall IELTS score of 6 with a minimum of 5.5 in each band, or a minimum PTE score of 52.

Applicants must also meet the Student Visa (subclass 500) requirements: be a Genuine Student (GS), meet the English language test score requirements, hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and be of good character.
