About This Course

IELTS Preparation at Hawthorn-Melbourne is a flexible course for international students who need a specific IELTS score to enter university, other tertiary study, or meet visa and migration requirements. The course builds strategy and technique across all four IELTS test components: speaking (conversation practice, pronunciation and idea expression), listening (note-taking and comprehension strategies), reading (skimming, scanning and graph analysis) and writing (task analysis, essay structure and paragraph development), covering both the General and Academic modules.

Students are assessed through mid-course and end-of-course examinations across all four skills, with detailed progress reports provided so students can track their readiness before sitting the official test. The course is delivered face-to-face at Level 1, 333 Exhibition Street, Melbourne.
