The course aims to prepare and guide students doing academic and general training modules of the IELTS exam by developing their skills in Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing, as well as grammar, vocabulary, and academic writing.
The course runs for 20 hours per week, with a Morning Session running Monday to Thursday (5 hours of study per day) and an Evening Session running Monday to Friday (4 hours of study per day).
The IELTS Preparation course runs from 1 to 24 weeks, allowing students to choose a duration that suits their needs.
BIC provides exam strategies and organisational techniques giving students the best chance to reach their goals, along with weekly practice with IELTS tests in real test conditions.
A typical week covers IELTS Reading (including T/F/NG question types and finding answers in a short time), Speaking (giving short answers, creating a story, and test tips), Listening (not panicking and listening for specific information), Writing (formal vs informal skills and Task 2 brainstorming), Grammar for IELTS (complex grammar structures), and Vocabulary Building (Academic Word List and phrases and expressions).
