Your expected IELTS score depends on your final grade. Students who pass at Grade C (50-59%) are expected to finish with an IELTS Academic score of 5.5 (Average Band Score) with no skill area below 5.0. Students who pass at Grade B (60-69%) are expected to achieve IELTS 6.0 with no skill area below 5.5. Students who pass at Grade A (70-79%) are expected to achieve IELTS 6.5 with no skill area below 6.0. Students who achieve Grade A+ (80-100%) are expected to reach IELTS 7.0 and above.
The IELTS Preparation Course (Academic) is weighted between two components: a Mid-course examination (equal to 30 percent of the overall grade) and an End-of-course examination (equal to 70 percent of the overall percentage mark). Weekly practice tests are not graded but are used as a means to monitor student learning and provide feedback on projected assessment outcomes throughout the entire study period.
The IELTS Preparation course articulates to either vocational education and training, undergraduate courses, or postgraduate courses at VIT, or any corresponding course with a college/university that has articulation agreements with the institute. A pass at Grade C articulates to vocational education and training; a pass at Grade B articulates to undergraduate courses; and a pass at Grade A articulates to postgraduate courses at VIT or partner institutions.
The Estimated Total Course Cost is $4,000, which comprises a Tuition Fee of $3,800 and a Non-Tuition Fee of $200.
Each week, students will encounter engaging multimedia materials reviewing core language skills, test-taking techniques and strategies across all four skill areas (Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking). In each skill area, students will be provided information about the structure of the test, in addition to the strategies needed to confidently take the exam. The course includes 20 face-to-face contact hours and 4-5 personal study hours per week, along with weekly practice tests and a mid and end of course test.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
