Intensive Program

As a QUT College student you will have full access to QUT's university libraries, learning spaces, services, student activities and facilities. On campus, QUT College also offers dedicated study pods ideal for focused study sessions, outdoor recreation areas including table tennis and facilities for relaxation, and communal dining areas with fully equipped kitchens. Nearby facilities include a QUT sports field (110m), library and 24-hour computer lab (185m), QUT Sport Fitness and Aquatics Centre (530m), and a QUT Medical Centre (550m).

Yes, QUT College offers two scholarships. The College Merit Scholarship provides up to $3,120 to cover tuition fees for diploma and foundation programs. The English Concession offers a 25% tuition fee reduction for English for Academic Purposes programs.

QUT College offers undergraduate pathway programs (including foundation and diploma programs, and university certificates) designed to help students meet academic and English requirements and gain a guaranteed place in a QUT bachelor degree — with diplomas able to fast-track students into the second year of bachelor degrees. For postgraduate study, graduate certificates and university certificates are available to help students meet minimum English language requirements for QUT masters degrees, with advanced standing (academic credit) available. English language programs are also offered for students who need to improve their English or prepare for IELTS. Australian students can also access diplomas, undergraduate certificates, and bridging programs in maths, physics and chemistry.

QUT College is located at QUT's Kelvin Grove campus, which is 3km from Brisbane's city centre. The campus is well connected, with a Kelvin Grove bus station 230m away and a QUT intercampus shuttle bus 250m away. Secure bike parking and on-campus parking are available 110m from the College.

QUT College provides specialised support through small class sizes and dedicated support advisers to help make the transition to study easy and stress-free. Outside of the classroom, students can access additional learning and language support if needed. Students also have access to cultural and social activities, student clubs, an orientation program, and a Student Mentor program.
