About This Course

Westminster's Senior School caters for Years 7 to 12 across one shared campus, with younger students in Years 7 and 8 learning through the role modelling of senior students at assemblies, House meetings and other whole-school activities. The Years 7-10 academic curriculum spans Business, Creative Arts, Digital and Design Technologies, English, Health and Physical Education, Humanities and Social Science, Languages (including English as an Additional Language, Chinese, German and Japanese), Mathematics, Outdoor Education (rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, surfing and camping), Performing Arts, Religious and Values Education, and Science, underpinned by each student's personal laptop or tablet. Co-curricular options include a wide range of sports, performing arts, debating and community service. Wellbeing is supported by a Head of Wellbeing, Heads of House, Class Tutors and a dedicated careers counselling service, with student voice channelled through School Leaders, the Student Representative Council and a peer-to-peer support network. Westminster is a member of Round Square, an international schools group promoting local and global community service, and students in these years build the leadership, independence and community involvement that carry through into Years 11 and 12.

General Requirements
  • Complete an Application for Admission as early as possible; applicants are waitlisted by year level and year of entry in order of receipt
  • Formal Offers of Enrolment are made up to two years prior to a student's start date in the Preparatory and Senior School, subject to availability
  • Provide a copy of the applicant's birth certificate
  • International applicants: provide a copy of passport and visa
  • Provide any reports or assessments related to the child's needs, and details of special health, personal care or agency support requirements
  • Provide a copy of the most recent school report and/or NAPLAN results
  • Entry is prioritised for siblings of current students, alumni or children of alumni, returning students, children of permanent staff and ELC students moving to Reception, before general waitlist order by application date
  • International students: Westminster School is CRICOS-registered (Provider No 00602G) to deliver education to student visa holders
