Junior Years Reception to Year 5 Girls Only

Domestic Students

• Completed online application form via the Walford Application Portal, signed by both parents unless otherwise approved
• Copy of the student's birth certificate or passport
• Current immunisation certificate
• Two most recent school reports and recent NAPLAN results (where applicable)
• Non-refundable $75 application fee (reduced fee for children/grandchildren of Old Scholars and concurrent sibling applications)
• Primary entry points at Reception, Mid-Year Reception and Year 5; other year levels considered subject to vacancy
• Enrolment interview with the Head of Enrolments, typically held one to two years before the intended start date

International Students

• Female applicants only (Walford is a girls-only school)
• Certified school reports for the previous two years, translated into English
• Proof of age and identity, plus a copy of the student's passport
• English language assessment via AEAS, IELTS or TOEFL, with the required score varying by year level
• Satisfactory academic achievement — generally a pass standard (C grade or above) across most core subjects
• Application recommended around 26 months before the intended commencement date
• Enrolment interview with the Head of Enrolments

• Direct, seamless progression into Walford's Middle School from Year 7
• Inquiry-based IB PYP foundation building problem-solving, creative thinking, collaboration and digital-literacy skills for future study
• Early leadership experience through Junior School Captaincy, House Captaincy, buddy programmes and the Service in Action Club
• Access to specialist music, sport and academic co-curricular pathways that continue through Middle and Senior School
