Master of Accounting

The Master of Accounting is a two-year degree designed to give comprehensive accounting expertise and open a path into leadership, suited to mid-career professionals upskilling and to career changers.
Your studies go deep into the key domains of financial and management accounting, auditing and taxation, built on a strong foundation of core subjects in economics, business mathematics, business law and finance.
First year covers those core courses, and elective courses give the flexibility to tailor the degree to your interests. The program advances your knowledge and skills for accounting practice while preparing you for leadership roles within the profession, and teaches you to drive strategic decision-making as part of a leadership team.
In your final year you complete an industry project, applying what you have learned in a professional setting.
The program totals 96 units — 72 units of core courses, 6 units of work integrated learning and 18 units of electives — over two years at the Adelaide City Campus, with February and July intakes.
