Master of Accounting and Finance

The Master of Accounting and Finance gives comprehensive financial expertise together with a professional accounting qualification, developing key areas of expertise across financial and management accounting, auditing and taxation.
Over two years you build a rounded and in-depth understanding of business, accounting and finance principles. First year introduces business fundamentals with courses on analytical tools for business, introductory economic principles, accounting concepts and finance principles, and moves into accounting information systems.
Essential business topics — management theory, business mathematics, business law and economics — run alongside the specialist content, and you gain insight into how financial managers make decisions.
Students access simulated financial trading environments, and network with peers, industry professionals and business experts. The curriculum is designed for a fast-changing financial environment, and prepares you to progress into a leadership or management role.
The program totals 96 units — 84 units of core courses and 12 units of electives — over two years at the Adelaide City Campus, with February and July intakes.
