Yes. The course is structured so you can study a postgraduate health specialisation of your choice as part of a graduate certificate or the Master of Advanced Practice. The 2026 domestic indicative first-year fee is $29,330. This fee is indicative only, based on a first-year full-time study load of 200 credit points, and does not include other fees like administrative and incidental fees or the cost of textbooks. This is a domestic fee-paying (DFP) place, meaning it is not Commonwealth supported, but students may be eligible for FEE-HELP assistance.
This course is suitable for registered nurses, midwives, paramedics and oral-health therapists wanting to develop distinctive careers involving research activities within clinical settings. It has been designed to meet changed health industry demands that require advanced practice clinicians, clinical leadership and clinical research skills in identified areas of healthcare.
In this course, you will learn the skills of evidence-informed clinical practice, including relevant health-care policy standards and strategies that enable translation of evidence into practice. You will also explore qualitative, quantitative and mixed-methods research processes, and related ethical considerations, for applied health research and evaluation practices. You will then consolidate your learning with a research project in one of the specialisations from your graduate certificate.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
