The total course fees are AUD $50,000 for international students (with tuition per unit at AUD $3,125 and a non-refundable deposit of AUD $500), and AUD $40,000 for domestic students (with tuition per unit at AUD $2,500 and a one-time non-refundable application fee of AUD $500).
To qualify for the award of Master of Agricultural Information Management, a student shall accrue an aggregate of at least 160 credit points, comprising 120 credit points of core units and 40 credit points of elective units, including satisfactory completion of all core units.
Graduates will be able to integrate contemporary business decisions and information technology in multiple agribusiness contexts, critically analyse and evaluate large volumes of data, apply appropriate procedures for packaging agricultural information, lead organisations to recognise the opportunities that ICT offers, and develop highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to transfer complex knowledge to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
Graduates will have developed and applied theoretical knowledge and understanding from a variety of authentic learning tasks and assessments, including lectures, guest lecturers, workshops, computer lab sessions, group work, and industry visits. Assessments will be in the form of case studies, formal examinations and projects that reflect real-life situations.
Yes, credit for previous learning may be obtained through the process of articulation, credit transfer, and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or a combination of these processes. Students who wish to apply for RPL must provide evidence in terms of completed qualifications along with other relevant documentation. Applicants entering with two years of professional experience are evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Program Director (or delegated representative).
