This degree is made up of 14 core units including one double capstone unit, plus 1 specified elective. Year 1 nests the Graduate Certificate in Hospitality Operations (People, Leadership & Performance, Marketing Management, Accounting for Managers, Service Quality Management) followed by the Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (Supply Chain Planning, Operations Management, Supply Chain Strategy, Project Management Principles and Techniques). Year 2 (Master of Applied Supply Chain Management) covers Network Planning, Demand & Inventory Management, Food Supply Chain Management, Research Methods for Decision Making, Supply Chain Performance Management, a double-unit Supply Chain Applied Research Project capstone, and 1 specified elective.
Successful graduates gain a Master of Applied Supply Chain Management degree, certified by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Australia (CILTA).
Assessment methods vary and include a combination of examinations, assignments and reports, presentations, case studies and practical applications.
You can apply for Academic Credit, which recognises prior study, skills and knowledge. Graduates from recognised institutions providing evidence of their previous studies and industry experience can apply.
