Common Questions
The course offers a 3.5-year stream for graduates with an undergraduate degree in architecture or civil/structural engineering, and a 4–4.5-year stream for undergraduate engineering graduates with a non-civil/structural background, where applications are considered case-by-case and course duration is determined at the time of application.
Part-time study is considered on an individual basis; however, it is only available after the first year of the course, and the overall part-time duration is 9 years.
You will be taught by a world-class group of experts drawn from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology and the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning, with linkages between the study programs explored via a dedicated architectural engineering capstone/thesis subject.
The intake for the Master of Architectural Engineering is Semester 1 (February) only.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
