Common Questions
The Master of Arts (Coursework) can be completed in just 1 year (3 semesters) full-time, thanks to Bond's fast-track three-semester-per-year academic schedule, with January, May, and September intakes available.
There are two program sequences available: Option 1 is the Major Research Project, which involves a major thesis (Part A and Part B, equivalent to 40 credit points); and Option 2 is the Research Project, which involves a smaller research project (10 credit points) plus 3 other general electives chosen from any Faculty.
Students can choose a combination of subjects from Criminology, International Relations, Communication, Public Relations, and Advertising, allowing them to tailor their qualifications to suit their specific career interests.
No. This program has been suspended from May 2026. There are no further intakes of students planned. The information is being retained for students currently enrolled in the program.
In Semester 1, all master students are required to complete a research and data subject to contextualise their forthcoming research project, completed alongside chosen discipline subjects. In Semesters 2 and 3, students delve deeper into their chosen discipline subjects and undertake an independent research project under the mentorship of an experienced faculty academic supervisor.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
