The Master of Biostatistics can be completed full-time in just 18 months (1.5 years), or you can choose a flexible three-year part-time option to suit your schedule.

International students are welcome to apply; however, the mid-year (July) intake is not available to international students. If you wish to start mid-year, you might consider the Master of Biostatistics (Enhanced) instead.

The program uses a hybrid teaching approach, with both face-to-face and online subjects, offering flexibility without compromising quality. Students also benefit from the University of Melbourne's affiliation with the Biostatistics Collaboration of Australia, giving access to experts nationwide.

The Master of Biostatistics builds on the Graduate Diploma in Biostatistics, offering an additional 6 months of full-time study (or 1 year part-time) to deepen your expertise. For even more depth, the Master of Biostatistics (Enhanced) adds a further 6 months of study, allowing you to delve deeper into biostatistics or broaden your skills across the wider field of public health.
