Common Questions
The Master of Brain and Mind Sciences is a postgraduate coursework degree that provides focused education and training for the next generation of neuroscience/mental health research, medical, nursing, psychiatry and psychology workforces, preparing them to meet the needs of those suffering from disorders of the brain and mind.
You will complete core units covering the fundamentals of neuroscience and linking them to clinical applications and interventions, as well as specialised elective units and a capstone unit.
The closing date for Semester 1 intake is 30 November of the preceding year. The university strongly encourages applicants to apply as early as possible, as offers are made on a rolling basis and places are limited.
You will need to include a resumé outlining employment history and relevant experience, proof of identity (valid passport, Australian birth certificate, or citizenship certificate for domestic students), current or final official academic transcripts with English translations if applicable, your final testamur or proof of qualification completion, proof of English proficiency where required (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL), and official detailed unit outlines for any mandatory prerequisite units.
The Master of Brain and Mind Sciences program is directed by Dr Eryn Werry.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
