The degree focuses on developing breadth and depth of disciplinary skills and knowledge to address the pressing environmental challenges faced by, and attributed to, the built environment sector, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration, cultural competence and digital skills.
Applications close on 31 January of the commencing year for Semester 1 intake, and 15 July of the commencing year for Semester 2 intake. Note that this course has limited places available and not all applicants who meet the deadline and requirements may be successful.
You will complete core foundational and advanced units with a mix of theory-based and practice-based units of study, as well as an interdisciplinary design or research capstone unit in which you will apply your learning with creativity and innovation.
Graduates are equipped for careers as environmentally sustainable design consultants or in a variety of other sustainability and building science-focused roles within the built environment sector.
You can submit an application through the University of Sydney's online application portal. Separate deadlines apply for scholarship applications, so prospective students should check the scholarship closing dates as well.
