The AGSM MBA (Executive) is a part-time program that can be completed anywhere between 2 and 6 years, offering flexibility to fit around your professional life. Students must complete 72 units of credit (UOC) in total.
The 2026 indicative first year full fee is $17,820, and the indicative full fee to complete the degree is $84,690. For Starter, Core and Elective courses, the fee per course is AUD$5,940. Executive Year courses are AUD$10,410 per course, plus a residential fee of AUD$4,110. Please note that Residential Fees are not refundable and are not covered by FEE-HELP.
A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate work experience is an absolute requirement for entry. Applicants can either hold a bachelor's degree plus at least 5 years' relevant professional experience, or, without a degree, have at least 5 years' relevant professional experience plus a minimum of 5 years' managerial experience with accountability for outcomes, projects and people. Most MBA (Executive) students have on average around 11 years of work experience.
The Executive Year is the most distinctive feature of the AGSM MBA (Executive). During your final year, you'll participate in residential courses delivered over three consecutive terms. This transformational learning experience will help you develop the leadership skills and strategic insights that contemporary executives need in an accelerating world. The three Executive Year courses are Executive Strategy: Growth and Innovation, Executive Strategy: Disruption and Transformation, and Executive Leadership Immersion (or Strategic Leadership).
Yes, the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) awards more than $2 million in scholarships every year. Scholarships available to MBA (Executive) applicants include the AGSM Indigenous Leaders Scholarship, the AGSM Alumni Community Leader Scholarship (which covers full tuition fees including Executive Year residential costs for those working in the not-for-profit sector), as well as other awards such as the LGBTI Leadership Award, Sport Leadership Award, Military Leadership Award, Entrepreneurial Leadership Award, and Community Leadership Award. Candidates are eligible to apply for scholarships once an application for the MBA program has been submitted.
