About This Course

Notre Dame's Master of Business Administration (MBA) is designed for current and aspiring leaders who want to develop their business knowledge, critical thinking and analytical skills. The curriculum emphasises experiential learning through case studies, simulations and real-world projects, with flexible entry pathways that allow the degree to be completed in as little as 18 months with recognition of prior learning.

A Master of Business Administration is the ideal degree for those who want to excel — MBA graduates often receive a significantly higher salary and a greater variety of career opportunities thanks to the superior skills and insights they bring to the workplace. For budding entrepreneurs, the program also shows how to launch, run and grow a business.

The program allows students to advance their career while building a network of business professionals. Compulsory courses cover foundational business concepts such as economics, accounting, financial management, marketing and strategic management, while four elective courses allow the degree to be tailored to individual needs and interests, including a choice of Business Specialisation in Health Management, Responsible Organisations, Education Management or Marketing for Value Creation.

General Requirements

Domestic Students

To be eligible for admission to The University of Notre Dame Australia, all applicants must meet the University's minimum requirements for admission for postgraduate programs. To be eligible for the Master of Business Administration, an applicant must hold:

An AQF Level 7 qualification; or
Studies sufficient to meet the requirements of an AQF Level 7 Award; or
Informal/non-formal learning equivalent to an AQF Level 7 qualification plus evidence of the skills necessary to complete postgraduate studies

Applicants who have successfully completed subjects at another University, which are relevant to the selected program of study, may be eligible for Advanced Standing.

International Students

Same academic entry requirements as domestic students (see above) — international students must have a qualification recognised as equivalent to an Australian Bachelor's degree, AQF Level 7
English language proficiency (all international applicants):

What funding options are available for domestic students?

Domestic fee-paying students may apply for the FEE-HELP loan scheme, which assists eligible fee-paying students with the payment of all, or part, of their tuition fees, not including additional study costs such as accommodation or textbooks. FEE-HELP debt will be indexed each year in line with the Consumer Price Index.
