Common Questions
To attain the Master of Business Administration (Global), students must complete 192 credit points consisting of: 48 credit points of college core units, 84 credit points of professional core units, 12 credit points for the Business Consulting capstone unit (BMO7005), and 48 credit points of global specialisation units chosen from an approved list.
Yes. If you have an Australian bachelor degree in business (or a similar discipline), you may be eligible for an exemption of 48 credit points of study. If you receive these 48 credit points for previous study, you may be able to qualify with an MBA (Global) in 1.5 years, enabling you to launch your global business career sooner.
During the MBA's internship component (unit BBB7000, 12 credit points), you will gain authentic exposure to the real world of work. International students will discover Australian workplace practices firsthand, working full-time or part-time. Domestic students will benefit from an internship integrated with their existing employer so they can progress both at work and in their studies simultaneously.
The MBA (Global) is a full-fee course (not government subsidised), with indicative fees of AU$33,500 per year for a full-time student. In addition to tuition fees, students will also need to pay a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). Scholarships are available to help with costs.
Through VU's partnership with the Institute of Managers and Leaders Australia & New Zealand (IML ANZ), MBA (Global) students receive complimentary Affiliate Membership for the duration of their studies plus one additional year after graduation, use of IML ANZ's nationally recognised post-nominals, access to professional mentoring through IML ANZ's Member Exchange Program, exclusive networking opportunities, fortnightly webinars on leadership topics, career development resources, an IML 360 personal development needs analysis, and access to IML Member lounges in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
