About This Course

The MQBS MBA is a transformative course, building contemporary business acumen and leadership capability to accelerate your career progress to senior management and leadership within or across industry. The Macquarie MBA is practice-led, industry connected, and tailored to your learning, work and career needs by addressing essential and contemporary business discipline knowledge and skills.

Key business disciplines and aspects of management education are addressed to inform practice, from experiential learning in the classroom, to internships and exchange programs with our academic and corporate partners, both in Australia and globally. The course aims to provide a strategic business perspective that focuses on sustainability and the competitive advantage of an enterprise with leadership at its core.

The course's flexible study options and choice of elective units let you tailor your studies to your interests, aspirations and lifestyle. Depending on commitments, you can choose to attend weekly lectures, intensive classes, or online interactive classes.

This course is primarily delivered at our City Campus with units also delivered at our Wallumattagal (North Ryde) Campus and/or online. To complete this course, you may need to attend classes at both campuses and/or online.

General Requirements

Domestic students:

AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65 or higher, or a minimum WAM of 60 together with a GMAT score of 650 or higher, and
Minimum three years full-time equivalent work experience at a managerial/professional level

International students:

AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65 or higher, or a minimum WAM of 60 together with a GMAT score of 650 or higher, and
Minimum three years full-time equivalent work experience at a managerial/professional level
IELTS (Academic) overall band 7 with minimum sub-scores: listening 6, reading 6, writing 6, speaking 6, or an approved equivalent
CRICOS-registered course - a valid student visa is required to study on campus
