About This Course

Torrens University's Master of Business Administration strengthens strategic thinking and leadership capability, preparing graduates to solve contemporary business challenges with confidence. The course is designed to accelerate a career, support a transition into a new industry, or help students step into senior leadership, with opportunities to engage with business leaders and C-suite executives while developing the commercial insight needed for confident, informed decisions. Designed and delivered by industry-experienced academics, the MBA builds commercial acumen and leadership skills through six core subjects, alongside six elective subjects spanning Marketing Management, Business Analytics and Insight, Project Management, Engineering Management, Technology and Digital Innovation, Strategy and Entrepreneurship, Health Leadership, CX and Service Design, and Finance, which can also be combined across streams. Students can enter or exit the program with a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Business Administration. Learning outcomes include mastering industry-standard business software to analyse data, applying advanced business principles to solve complex problems, encouraging ethical decision-making in teams and individuals, and systematically evaluating business risk while communicating findings to a broader audience.

Torrens University's online MBA is ranked 20th globally and rated Tier-1 by CEO Magazine, with lecturers recognised as the Most Inspirational MBA Lecturers in 2023 and 2024 by MBAus. The university is also a member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). This AQF Level 9 course is delivered online, on campus or in blended mode across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and online, over 1.5 years full-time with part-time options available, or one year accelerated.

General Requirements

Domestic students:

Undergraduate or postgraduate degree from any Australian university or equivalent OR
Applicants without formal qualifications are eligible to apply if they have five (5) years' work experience (of which 3 years is managerial)

International students:

Successful completion of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from any Australian university or equivalent OR
At least five years of professional work experience (of which three years is managerial) AND
Academic IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.0) or equivalent OR
Alternative entry requirement may be available
