Master of Business Administration

Adelaide University's Master of Business Administration is an 18-month degree designed to give experienced professionals the skills and expertise to attain senior management and leadership positions across a range of industries and sectors.
The MBA comprises seven core courses, including a capstone, and five electives. Core courses cover finance, accounting, sustainability, leadership and marketing, while electives explore areas such as entrepreneurship, negotiation and behavioural economics.
In your final six months you can specialise in Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing or Sustainable Futures, or customise your studies with an industry project in an area of your choice.
The degree is framed around creating new solutions, leading innovative teams and delivering results in the context of disruptive change and global competition, and is taught by academics working in contemporary management research. You connect with industry through real case studies, guest speakers and mentorships, and network with professionals who bring extensive management experience.
Students also undertake the Australian Institute of Company Directors' Company Directors Course.
The program totals 72 units — 42 units of core courses plus specialisations and electives — over 18 months, on campus at Adelaide City or online, with March, June and August intakes.
