Requirements

Rule A: You have completed a Bachelor qualification (AQF Level 7 or overseas equivalent) AND you have a minimum of two years of full-time (or part-time equivalent) relevant professional experience.
Rule B: You have completed one of the following qualifications (or an overseas equivalent) AND you have a minimum of two years of full-time (or part-time equivalent) relevant professional experience: Graduate Certificate (AQF Level 8), Graduate Diploma (AQF Level 8), or Bachelor with Honours (AQF Level 8).
Rule C: You have completed a Masters qualification or above (AQF Level 9 or overseas equivalent).
Rule D: You have completed a Graduate Certificate of Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management through the Governance Institute of Australia.
Rule E: You have completed a UNE Graduate Diploma in Business.
Relevant professional experience refers to a position of responsibility in any organisational and industry context.
English language requirements must also be met.

How long does it take to complete the UNE MBA?

You can complete the UNE MBA in as little as three trimesters (approximately one year), or spread your studies over up to six years part-time, giving you flexibility to balance your studies with work and personal commitments.

Can I exit the MBA early if I don't complete the full degree?

Yes. If you choose not to complete the full MBA, you can exit with a Graduate Certificate in Business, Graduate Certificate in Health Management, or Graduate Diploma in Business if you have completed the requirements of one of those courses.

What are the entry requirements if I don't have a bachelor's degree?

If you don't have a bachelor's degree, your professional experience could make you eligible to study a graduate certificate in either accounting, agribusiness or business, enabling you to progress into the MBA.

What subjects can I choose from in the MBA?

You can choose from units across a range of areas, including accounting, business analytics, economics, finance, human resource management, management or marketing, so you can tailor your degree to suit your work and career goals.

Is there any face-to-face component in the UNE MBA?

While the course is delivered online, students can attend optional face-to-face weekend schools across a range of units, allowing you to come together in person with other students and teaching staff.
