About This Course

The Master of Business Administration (Advanced) is an extended MBA designed to help students advance their career or transition into a new industry, with a range of elective subjects that let them tailor the qualification to their goals. It is aimed at international students and those seeking an extended course, and is designed and delivered by high-achieving, industry-experienced academics who help strengthen students' business acumen and leadership skills. The course comprises ten core and six elective subjects, giving students the flexibility to focus on their specific career objectives, and can be entered or exited with a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Master of Business Administration. Students study on campus or online and graduate with the skills, knowledge and industry connections to support long-term business success. Learning outcomes include encouraging ethical decision-making in teams and individuals, mastering industry-standard business software to analyse data, applying advanced business principles to solve complex problems, and evaluating business risk while communicating findings to a broad audience.

General Requirements

Domestic students:

Undergraduate or postgraduate degree from any Australian university or equivalent OR
Five years' work experience (of which 3 years is managerial), for applicants without formal qualifications

International students:

Successful completion of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from any Australian university or equivalent OR
At least five years of professional work experience (of which three years is managerial); applications assessed on a case-by-case basis AND
Academic IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.0) or equivalent OR
Alternative entry requirement may be available
